Ms. Griggs holds Bachelors & Masters Degrees in Voice from UT Knoxville. She was an apprentice to the Knoxville Opera Company while a graduate student at UT. She has performed with the Knoxville Opera, UT Opera, Clarence Brown Theatre, and Oak Ridge Playhouse, as well as several area orchestras.
Ms. Griggs has taught voice lessons for 32 years and has been with Music Arts since 1988. She enjoys teaching all styles of music to adults and teens.
Her instruction focuses on projection, breath control, and other fundamental aspects of singing. She takes a very professional attitude toward her teaching, and she is skilled at diagnosing vocal problems and helping students progress.
