A performer and educator for 25 years, Don Lordo comes to Music Arts with a versatile background. At a given time performing with an orchestra on a Friday, a rock band on a Saturday, right into a month of multiple percussion with a musical theater company, Mr. Lordo has steadily been a ‘go-to’ performer throughout Middle and East Tennessee. As an educator, he has taught privately, as well as having worked with numerous schools throughout Middle Tennessee as a percussion instructor, an assistant director, as well as directing several jazz programs. Proficient in multiple styles, Mr Lordo is offering lessons to cover drum set (Jazz, Rock, Latin,, etc.); orchestral (Timpani, Mallets, Snare, Accessories); marching, (including NAPD/Rudimental Studies); as well as hand percussion/Latin percussion (Bongos, Congas, TImbales, Djernbe, Aux)
